minutes, agendas and reports to Wirral's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8th February 2013 to 14th November 2014

ScarletPimpernel made this Freedom of Information request to Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

This FOI request is for

i) minutes of public meetings of Wirral Council's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8/2/13 to 14/11/14,
ii) agendas of public meetings of Wirral Council's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8/2/13 to 14/11/14 and
iii) reports to Wirral Council's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8/2/13 to 14/11/14
iv) dates of public meetings of Wirral Council's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8/2/13 to 14/11/14.
vi) dates, times and locations of any planned future public meeting of Wirral Council's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8/2/13 to 14/11/14.

As I already have minutes (in response to a previous FOI request) for the meeting of the Special Advisory Council on Religious Education held on the 7th February 2013, even if these minutes were produced between 8/2/13 to 14/11/14, I consider this meeting to fall outside this request.

I draw your attention to the fact that SACRE meets in public and to decision notice FS50509081 . I remind you of your duty to provide advice and assistance to FOI requesters.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

John Brace

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'minutes, agendas and reports to Wirral's Special Advisory Council on Religious Education from 8th February 2013 to 14th November 2014'.

Thank you for the information supplied so far. However I note you have not supplied the draft minutes of the Wirral SACRE meeting of the 8th October 2014 or the agenda for the meeting of the 8th October 2014 and make this internal review request for both these documents.

Both of these fall within the timescales specified in the original request (8/2/13 to 14/11/14) and although the draft minutes of the 8th October 2014 will be approved (with or without changes) at the meeting on the 11th February 2014, as far as I can tell minutes of the Wirral SACRE meetings are not being published by Wirral Council, therefore you cannot rely on the exemption for information intended for future publication (exemption 22).

You haven't actually claimed one or more exemptions relate to not providing the minutes and agenda of the meeting held on 8th October 2014. Therefore either a reason should be given, or the information requested supplied.

Thank you.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

John Brace
