Dear Mr Laycock,

RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is enclosed.

Q1. Cremations done per year at facility; 2012-to now.

2012 = 1806

2013 = 1826

2017 to end of Nov = 1848

Q2. What is maximum capacity or number of possible cremation that can be
done per year?

This is a very difficult number to calculate it depends on whether we use
the unabated single cremator and if we include weekends the maximum number
we can do in a day is 17 but this can be extended if needed however there
is down time for repairs of machinery.

Q3. Number of cremation machines at facility.

3

Q4. How many cremation machines are operational?

3

Q5. Number of machines with mercury abatement?

Q6. Revenue, expenses and profit from facility; last two reported
financial years

and Environmental Surcharge of £105.50

Q8. Cost of a no-service (low cost) cremation/current price.

If you have a complaint about the handling of your request then please
contact me.  I will arrange for an internal review which will be
considered as part of Stage 2 of the Council’s complaints procedure.
