We're waiting for Suzanne Emmett to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Liverpool City Council,
Can you please provide me with copy of the original lease for the above care homes? Can you specify on the timeline of the original lease and explain as to why the lease has been amended and a 3 year freehold purchase clause has been added, which was not in the original!!! Why would LCC amend a lease and has LCC done this before? Is this normal practice?
Why would Bloomcare purchase the freehold and for what purpose?
What exactly are the contract terms of this lease? How long was the original lease for?
Can I also request a copy of the amended lease which I believe Bloomcare are due to sign this week?
Can you inform me of who knew about this clause and who signed off on this? Names and dates of Local Councillors and MPs who knew about this clause.
I would like to know the future of both these care homes that were built by LCC for the most vulnerable in society that have been treated appallingly by LCC this last year
I do believe that following the 3 years the new care provider Bloomcare can purchase both Millvina & Brushwood, is this correct?
I have been informed that both buildings cannot be repurposed if they fall into the hands of a different operator, is this correct?
How long are both these care homes safe for?
What would happen if both care homes were sold off to private developers, what could these buildings be repurposed into? A hotel maybe?
I believe that the future of both these homes have been assured and LCC have ensured through waterlight agreements, is this correct? Can I have this in writing please?
I would appreciate a response urgently as time is of the essence.

Yours faithfully,
Suzanne Emmett

Liverpool City Council
