Midland Metro - Birmingham Eastside Extension - business case documents

We're waiting for owen to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear West Midlands Combined Authority,

We (Railfuture West Midlands) welcome the extension of the West Midlands Metro to the Eastside of birmingham, but are concerned about the lack of transparency over the publication of the business case documents for the project since it is a large amount of public expenditure.

https://governance.wmca.org.uk/ieDecisio...

Please provide us with copies of the SOBC, OBC, and FBC documents for the project.
(strategic outline business case, outline business case, full business case).
(apologies if the documents have been published elsewhere - we search the WMCA website and were not able to locate them)

We appreciate that at the time the documents came before the WMCA board there may have been financial information related to contracts under negotiation, but some time has now passed, so if there is any redaction of the documents relating to financial information we expect that to only relate to contracts which have not yet been executed / tendered for.

Yours faithfully,

Owen O'Neill on behalf of Railfuture West Midlands branch.
