Middlesbrough Mayoral Development Corporation

In order to establish a Mayoral Development Corporation under Regulation 4 of the Tees Valley Combined Authority (Functions) Order 2017, the Mayor must have followed a series of procedures, including those at Chapter 2 of the Localism Act 2011.

1. Please provide the consultation documents and responses produced under Section 197(3)(b), (c) and (d) of the Localism Act 2011 produced in respect of the establishment of the Middlesbrough Mayoral Development Corporation.

2. Please identify the relevant date the documentation required for Section 197(5)(a) of the Localism Act 2011 was considered to be laid.

The consultation is currently open for responses and accordingly we do not hold the information you request in relation to consultation responses yet. It is our intention to publish a consultation log and the Authority's response once the consultation closes. This will also be published on our website.
