Dear Mr Thackeray

Thank you for your request for an electronic copy of the following
document: MH 153/590: [1]Online Catalogue details - MH 153/590

I have included a link to the online Catalogue description of this
document above as your request is for a copy of an open document. We
normally handle requests for copies of documents in accordance with our
Publication Scheme

(see
[2]http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/foi/p...
which permits us to charge for copies, the fee being set in accordance
with Fees Regulations under the Public Records Act 1958 (see
[3]http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2005/... ).

The quickest way to place an order for complete copies of the document MH
153/590 is to go to our website, click on Shop online, then Record copying
[4]http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/recor... where you will find
our terms and conditions and the order form. We will then let you know how
much the files are to copy and send to you - digitally, if that is what
you require - and, if you agree to the charges, the copies are then done.

To give you an indication of the costs, our Record Copying has been able
to prepare an estimate as follows - but please note that this is an
unofficial estimate. We will send you an official estimate by email if
that is acceptable to you, or by post if you prefer.

For MH 153/590 - 200 pages (£2.80 x 200) - £560

We can also supply photocopies of documents which are based on 45 pence
per page plus postage costs, and therefore a cheaper option for you. If
you wish us to post the photocopies to you, we will need you to supply a
postal address please.

An even cheaper option exists if you are able to visit us in person (or
send someone on your behalf) [5]http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/visit/
If you bring a digital camera you can take images of the files free of any
charge. Alternatively you could use our onsite self-service photocopying
facilities, which would cost 20p per page, or you can send images to an
e-mail account free of charge. For advice on making a visit, including our
ID requirements for obtaining a reader's ticket, please click here:

I hope you find this information helpful to your research.  However, If
you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our response to your request for
information please send full details to: here is a link to the Complaints
pages on our website which explain the procedure in detail and what
further steps you may take, should you wish to do so:
