Metrolink Ancillary Vehicles

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for Greater Manchester,
I would like to request some details regarding Metrolink's fleet of rail mounted ancillary vehicles.

Firstly of the diesel locomotive (SPV) dating from the systems opening. I am led to believe this vehicle is due for imminent withdrawal, could you confirm or deny this and if it is the case the date it is due to be/was withdrawn. If it has been withdrawn could you also provide any details relating to plans for its disposal.

Secondly i would like some details of the small shunting devices based at both Metrolink depots. Could you please tell me the make and model of these vehicles, the dates they were acquired, the cost of the vehicles and the means of propulsion (i.e. Diesel, battery etc)

Thankyou for your time
Yours faithfully,

James Boden
