Metro Bus land security

The request was successful.

Dear Bristol City Council,

Since the start of the Metro Bus project the land on the route has had (in some places) security company personnel hired by Bristol City Council to guard it. One example is Stapleton Allotments - but there are many across the city.

How much has Bristol City Council spent on hiring security companies to guard Metro Bus land?
What was the date this began?
Can you provide a global total + a per month total of the amount of money paid out by Bristol City Council on hiring security to protect Metro Bus land?
Can you confirm if this security cost was budgeted for in Metro Bus original proposals (yes/no)?
Can you confirm the original Metro Bus proposal for security costs and over how many years this original cost was planned?

Thanks in anticipation of your answer

Yours faithfully,

steve virgin
