Met Police officers charged or convicted of violent or sexual offences
Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),
With reference to your previous response to Freedom of Information request reference no: 01.FOI.21.018640:
https://www.met.police.uk/cy-GB/foi-ai/m...
I would like to make a Freedom of Information request as follows:
1) Over the past year from 03/03/21 - 03/03/22 how many serving Met Police officers, including special constables, were charged or convicted at a criminal court for the offence types 'Violence against the person' or 'Sexual Offence'? (Appreciating that Centurion does not use the categories 'Murder, Assault, ABH, GBH'.)
2) Also, how many officers convicted of any offences are still employed by the Met Police?
I would be grateful if you would send me the requested information promptly and in any event not later than the twentieth working day following the date of receipt of my request.
Yours faithfully,
Phil Booth
