Met police FACE MASK public transport

The request was successful.

Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),
Could you please answer the following questions with Regards to this freedom of information request.
1.Persons with Asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease amd various mental health conditions are exempt from wearing face coverings and masks on buses and the underground could you please clarify what these people would have to do to show you to define that they are exempt from wearings face masks when you do a check on buses and the underground. Would you expect them to carey a letter from their GP as well as other medical evidence?
2. Peopke can download small documents from London transport and the underground websites but they are supplied with no medical evidence would this be enough for the police to allow a health suffer to carry on with their journey with this small dowmload with no medical evidence?
3..Under these circumstances would you force a sufferer of COPD or asthma off the train or buses without a mask on even though they have proved to the police that they are exempt from wearing a mask?
4.If a person with COPD asthma or another condition that states they are exempt from wearing a mask on a train or bus would they be given a spot fine and kicked off the train even though they are exempt from using a mask?

Yours faithfully,

Alison Stevens
