I would like to request information on the number of complaints received (and abatement notices issued, if applicable) by the council within these time periods:

1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017
1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018
1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019

for the following three points:
- Noise complaints (if possible to be further broken down by totals each reason, such as dogs barking, loud music, or equivalent).
- Boundary disputes
- Accumulation of rubbish/waste

We have now considered your information request as set out below. 

 

You asked:

 

I would like to request information on the number of complaints received
(and abatement notices issued, if applicable) by the council within these
time periods:

 

1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017

1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018

1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019

 

for the following three points:

The number of abatement notices served are as follows:

 

2016 – 14

2017 – 5

2018 – 11

 

- Boundary disputes – There have been no boundary disputes involving the
council’s land.

 

- Accumulation of rubbish/waste  (To clarify, I would like to know the
number of complaints regarding large amounts of waste on private land, as
opposed to fly tipping) – Information not held.  I can confirm that the
council cannot take complaints about accumulation of rubbish/waste on
private land.   Complaints are only taken about waste on public land.
