Merton fly-tipping heat map

We're waiting for Clair Brooke to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Merton Council,

On page 11 of the PDF document on your website at the following URL;

https://democracy.merton.gov.uk/document...

SCOSC Fly-tip Strategy Sept 2019.pdf - "Fly-tipping Strategy 2019 – 2023"

there is a picture of a "fly-tipping heat map" with the text "The hotspots within Merton are identifiable, as can be seen in the heat map below which is utilised by the council’s contractor to manage fly-tipping reports and responded to locations."

Please can you provide a better quality version of this heat map, and make the data available in an easier to read format (perhaps a spreadsheet). The image in the PDF document is very small and blurry.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Yours faithfully,

Clair Brooke

Dear Clair Brooke,

We have now considered your information request as set out below.

You asked:  there is a picture of a "fly-tipping heat map" with the text
"The hotspots within Merton are identifiable, as can be seen in the heat
map below which is utilised by the council’s contractor to manage
fly-tipping reports and responded to locations."

Please can you provide a better quality version of this heat map, and make
the data available in an easier to read format (perhaps a spreadsheet).
The image in the PDF document is very small and blurry.

OUR RESPONSE. Please see screen shot below of the heat map referenced in
our Fly Tipping strategy which was presented to the Sustainable
Communities Scrutiny and Overview Committee. I acknowledge that as a
screen shot the map does not give the required detail , as such I have
also included a simple table which shows the volume of events of fly
tipping by location.
