Meridian Water and Enfield Bus Reviews

Sean Cirillo made this Freedom of Information request to Transport for London

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Transport for London,

After past FOI Requests, I got a confirmation that there will be a review within the borough of Enfield and Meridian Water.

Will it be possible to give a possible confirmation date on when will the review take place and when should it be completed?

Yours faithfully,

Sean Cirillo

Dear FOI,

In response to the information I had received and confirmed that " Enfield Council and the developers of Meridian Water will be consulted ". Would I ask on why Harringay or Waltham Forest Councils are not going to be consulted within the review despite the boroughs being neighboring to the development?

Yours sincerely,

Sean Cirillo

Dear FOI,

In relation to the responses received that only Enfield Council aswell the developments are the only parties to be consulted for the Meridian Water Bus Review. I request the following information :

1. The decision on why Waltham Forest and Harringay Councils are to not be consulted for the Meridian Water Bus Review.

2. Will the LB Enfield hold the decision on where the bus routes will link to?

Yours sincerely,

Sean Cirillo

Dear Transport for London,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Transport for London's handling of my FOI request 'Meridian Water and Enfield Bus Reviews'.

TFL has not responded to my request on information regarding the decision to consult with specific stakeholders. This has long been over 20 days over the limit required to reply. From this I am requesting a internal review to this.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

Sean Cirillo

FOI, Transport for London

Dear Mr Cirillo

Thank you for your email. As your enquiry of the 23 August was not a request for recorded information and instead required a response with an explanation or opinion it did not fall within the scope of the FOIA and therefore was not taken forward under our process or an acknowledgement sent to you.

We immediately passed your enquiry to TfL's Customer Service Team to provide you with a direct response. Please accept our apologies that they have yet to contact you.

I have again forwarded you query and complaint to them today.

Kind regards

Dear Mr Cirillo

Thank you for your email of 4 October about the planning of the Meridian Water development.

Our specialist team for FOI has forwarded me your enquiry; I appreciate the time you've taken to
contact us.

I understand your interest in this major new housing development. However, I need to stress that the
London Borough of Enfield is coordinating all the planning for the site. This means that they will
consult with us and with neighbouring councils over the construction of public transport links for
the new homes.

Firstly, you might like to read more about the project on the council websites:

[2]meridianwater.co.uk/.

[3]new.enfield.gov.uk/services/planning/planning-information-meridian-water-masterplan-july-2013.pdf.

Enfield Council will be able to tell you more about how they’ve involved the London Boroughs of
Haringey and Waltham Forest in the decision making, You can contact Enfield's project team directly
at:

[4][email address].

I trust the above information will be helpful to you.

Thanks again for contacting us. If there is anything else we can help you with, please reply to this
email. Alternatively, you can call us on 0343 222 1234 and we'll be happy to help you.
