Thank you for your request for information from Durham University.
Colleagues have provided the information below in response to your
questions.

 

I would like to receive information about the number of your full-time
employees who have (certification or have attended) mental health first
aid training.

Courses are offered by the University (i.e. the Counselling Service or by
Occupational Health) giving mental health training.  Groups and
individuals have also attended training internally-located (with external
facilitator) or externally-located (e.g. hosted by our local Public Health
department).

During 2018/19: 352 staff members were trained by Mental Health Advisors. 

Additional training has been provided by external trainers however
attendance information is not held. 

 

Mental health training became available across the University from Monday
16th September in the form of online e-learning modules, supplemented as
required by courses available on the University training course booking
system.

 

I would like to also kindly ask for the total number of students attending
your university at the moment.
