Mental health absence in schools

We're waiting for C D Johnson to read recent responses and update the status.

1. How many sick days were taken by staff (including heads, assistant heads and deputies, teachers and support staff) in schools for mental health conditions (including stress, depression, anxiety etc) in the following school years
 2020/21
 2021/22

2. What was the average number of days taken by those who took time off from schools for mental health conditions in
2020/21
2021/22.

2021/22 – 14,312 days

 

 

 

 

2. What was the average number of days taken by those who took time off
from schools for mental health conditions in

 

2020/21 – 31 days

 

2021/22 – 28.3 days
