Dear Highland NHS Board,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Highland NHS Board's handling of my FOI request 'Mental Health'.

My complaint is regarding the refusal to release the information i requested regarding the use of restraints, on the grounds that it is strongly in the public interest that these figures should be collated centrally and available via Freedom of Information.

Yours faithfully,

elizabeth thomson

Dear MCINALLY, Anna (NHS HIGHLAND),

Please disregard my email sent earlier today and respond to this one instead.

I am writing to request an internal review of Highland NHS Board's handling of my FOI request 'Mental Health'.

My complaint is regarding the refusal to release the information i requested regarding the use of physical restraints, on the grounds that it is strongly in the public interest that these figures should be collated centrally and available via Freedom of Information.

To clarify, I am only asking for information relating to the use of 'physical restraints' as defined by the health board's own guidelines.
