Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner's handling of my FOI request 'Memberships and Association'.
My questions are:
1. Is the current PFCC, or have they ever been, a member of the Countryside Alliance and if so on what date did they join and/or resign?
2. Is the current PFCC, or have they ever been, in any way connected with the organisation Vote-OK?
3. Is the current PFCC, or have they ever been, a member of or in any way connected with any fox hunt?
4. Is the current PFCC, or have they ever been, a member of or in any way connected with any form of bloodsports?
The above 4 questions have a plain and a straightforward meaning, with no ambiguity.
A response which states that the information requested is not held by the PFCC's office is clearly unsupported by fact unless the current PFCC has declined to disclose said information, which therefore becomes reliance upon a permitted exemption yet to be detailed or provided.
Please clarify the position.

Your request has been passed on to me as the Monitoring Officer for the
Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides public access to information
held by public authorities and covers any recorded information that is
held by a public authorities. In terms of membership of outside bodies and
organisations, PFCCs are required to publish a register of their interests
publically which may capture membership of organisations such as The
Countryside Alliance or Vote OK, however as you can see [1]Mr Mold's
declaration shows no such membership.
Therefore the specific information you requested is not held by the Office
of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, hence my
colleague’s response to you.
However in the spirit of openness and transparency, I can confirm the
following:
1. Is the current PFCC, or have they ever been, a member of the
Countryside Alliance and if so on what date did they join and/or resign?
