Dear Mike McAtominey,
Re: Freedom of Information Request.
I refer to your correspondence to the council and your recent request.
A spreadsheet has been provided for the last 6 years from the financial
year 2015/16 until 2021/2022 to date for payments made as per your
request.
Unfortunately, due to the way in which information is recorded in our
systems, the awarding councillor data is not easily available to extract.
As such this information has not been provided, as the work required would
be time consuming and would exceed the 18-hour limit set for FOIs under
section 12(1) 0f the Freedom of Information Act.
The data provided does set out the awarding councillors’ ward which may be
of use.
In addition, our systems do not hold information on when monies were spent
or were planned to be spent by the beneficiary. As such, we have provided
the date the money was paid over to the beneficiary.

I trust that this response is satisfactory. If, however you are
dissatisfied with this response you have a right to appeal to an
independent officer within the council. They will re-examine your request
and assess whether we have adhered to the requirements of the act. Should

to ask the Information Commissioner to decide whether we have met with our
obligations under the act. The Commissioner has however made it clear
