Re: Your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act received on 29 May
2009.
I can confirm that Advantage West Midlands has now completed its search for the information you
requested and our response to your requests is outlined below:
1. The number of meetings of the Regional Economic Council (REC) that
the chair of Advantage West Midlands has attended since October
2008.
The Chair has attended three meetings of the Regional Economic Council since October
2008.
2. The number of other board members or Advantage West Midlands
staff members travelling with the chair to those meetings.
No other Board members or staff members attended these meetings.
3. The total cost of travel and accommodation of Advantage West
Midlands staff when attending those meetings.
Please refer to answer to Q2. – No staff member travel or accommodation costs.
4. Details of any meetings of the Advantage West Midlands board
concerning the results of REC meetings.
There have been no meetings of the AWM Board to specifically discuss the results of REC
meetings. Minutes of Board meetings are available on our website at:
