Dear Lakeisha,
Thank you very much for your reply to my FOI request.
I would like to ask the following clarification question in response to Q3 of my request: Have you conducted any searches of the inboxes of KCL's security department to ensure that no information covered under the scope of my request is held?
The wording of your response appears to suggest that you have concluded that, since no meetings have been held with police, it logically follows that no emails covered under the scope of my request have been exchanged with police.
I would like to flag that these two questions (1 and 3) are clearly independent of one another - emails may have been exchanged without meetings have taken place.
KCL can reasonably ascertain whether emails have been exchanged with police by searching the inboxes of it's security department - who are the most likely to be in contact with police.
Yours sincerely,
Harriet Clugston

Dear Lakeisha,
Thank you for providing this response after an extensive delay.
I would like to request clarity on the following:
My original request was for emails exchanged with police between 1 Oct 2023 and 16 May 2024. None of the emails in the attachment are from this time period. They are from 3 June onwards, outside of the time period I requested.
Have you failed to provide emails covered under the scope of my request?
Or, can you confirm that no such emails were exchanged between 1 October 2023 and 16 May 2024?
Yours sincerely,
Liberty Investigates
Dear Harriet Clugston,
Thank you for your email.
Reviewing your original and follow up requests on the 16th May and the 30th July respectively, the only time frame provided is "since 1st October 2023" which has been interpreted to mean: From 1st October 2023 to the date the request was received. Therefore, the emails provided for the follow up request are within the timeframe stipulated from 1st October 2023 to the date of the request 30th July 2024.
The emails you have been provided with represent all the correspondence which falls within the scope of your request between King's and the Metropolitan police.
I hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
Lakeisha Dowsey-Magog (she/her)
