Meetings
Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Can you confirm the amount of time given around a meeting request, as in how long can it be demand reasonable to respond to a request from the public for a meeting with the ministers
Yours faithfully,
Brian donaldson
Mr. Donaldson
Apologies for the delay.
I am responding to your email below to explain why you will not be receiving a formal FOI response. Your request does not fall within the remit of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as you are seeking an opinion, rather than specific, recorded information or documents. Under FOIA, a public authority is under no statutory obligation to create information in response to a request; the FOIA gives you the right to ask for recorded information only.
I hope this clarifies the Department’s position in respect of its FOIA obligations.
Regards
Nicola Finlay
