-Minutes of the Staff Consultative Committee and the Student Domestic Sub Committee for the past year.

Thank you for your recent FOI requests asking for information on the
Master’s Lodge and the College’s Committees.  I am writing to reassure you
that we are doing everything we can to get the information and documents
to you.  However, at present a large number of key personnel are away and
it will be extremely difficult for us to get all the documentation to you
on time.  I wonder, if in the circumstances, you would be prepared to
extend the deadline beyond 19^th August?

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 23 July.  I am sorry
that over the holiday period it has been difficult to gather all the
required information.

 

Independent Auditors’ Reports for the years ending June 2011 and June 2012
are attached.

 

Remit of the Finance Committee is as follows:

 

o to consider long-term strategy and policy relating to the College’s
financial management on the basis of a rolling five-year plan, and to
make recommendations to the College Council;
o to oversee the financial management of the College, ensuring that its
activities in pursuit of its core objectives of advancing education,
religion, learning and research are managed cost-effectively and
supported by robust and well-managed financial resources, which will
sustain the enterprise in perpetuity;
o to oversee the drawing up of the College’s annual budget for approval
by the College Council, and to monitor expenditure within the budget
during the course of the financial year;
o to review the detailed budgets of College departments under its scope
(i.e. Bursary, Archives, Computer Office, Development Office) where
appropriate with input from the relevant sub-committees;
o to work with all committees having a material effect on the College’s
income and expenditure, to oversee their contribution to the College’s
annual budget and to ensure sound budgetary management;
o to receive the minutes of the Computing, Communications and Records
Sub-Committee and where necessary to consider its recommendations
relating to strategy and policy;
o to submit its minutes to the College Council each term;
o to report annually to the College Council with an updated version of
the rolling five-year plan.

 

General Meeting (this is our Governing Body).

Education Strategic Committee

 

This was disbanded in 2010 and has not met since.

 

Student Domestic Sub-Committee

 

Approved minutes are attached.

 

Staff Consultative Committee

 

I will send these when the relevant members of staff return from their
holidays.
