Dear Rudra,
Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the
Act”)
Further to your recent request for information held by King’s College
London, I am writing to confirm that the requested information is held by
the university.
Your request
We received your information request on 12^th June 2023 and have treated
it as a request for information made under section 1(1) of the Act.
You requested the following information:
Can I please request the statistics on applicants who applied to study
medicine at KCL PQA, so those who had already completed their A-levels and
were applying with achieved grades in 2019, 2021, and 2022. Hence, a post
qualification application.
Could you please include their:
GCSE grades attained
A-level Grades attained
UCAT score attained
And if they were offered an interview, and were given a place at the
university.
Our response
The attached appendix provides details relevant to your request. Please
consider the notices in red when analysing the data.
Please Note:
We have interpreted the PQA element of the request as referring to
applicants who applied and inputted qualification data for three or more
achieved A Levels at the point of application.
Note that some of these applicants may have been made conditional offers
nonetheless based on achievements in non-A Level qualifications or resits.
The qualification data shown here comes from free-text data sources
inputted by the applicant at the point of application. This data is
therefore not necessarily accurate. If any of the qualifications submitted
to us from this dataset were necessary to make an offer to the applicant,
then these would have been verified by our Admissions team as accurate
prior to an offer being made.
Where no UCAT data has been identified for an applicant, it is likely that
no UCAT data was submitted to KCL at the point of application.
This completes the university’s response to your information request.

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
