Dear Cardiff University,

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 concerning your undergraduate and graduate Medicine program, I would like to request some data about the program and any related aspects that may assist prospective graduate entry applicants based on the last 3 years (2021 to 2023).

Please provide the following information for both the undergraduate and graduate, concerning graduate applicants:

1. Program Structure:
- Does your program offer the opportunity for intercalation? If so, can it be taken internally or at an external institute as well?
- What is the main teaching method, i.e. PBL, spiral curriculum, CBL?
- Do you use full body cadavers during anatomy?
- Do you use prosection or dissection for anatomy?
- Does university offer any funding support for graduate students?
2. Admission Requirements:
If you could please provide the following information for the people who were invited to interview and those who were given an offer.
- A Level grades and UCAT/ GAMSAT scores for each candidate that was given an offer, where applicable.
- The number of applicants with GCSE or A Level resits that were given an offer. Additionally, are resit grades considered in the application process, and if so, how do they impact the application?
- Were there any contextual offers made? If so, through which university schemes?
- Are there any specific work experience requirements, i.e. minimum hours and type of work experience?
3. Application Process:
- How much weight do personal statements hold in the selection process? Additionally, is what stage - before/ after the interview?
- Competition ratios for these 3 years (2021-2023). If these are not available, then please provide the number of places available, applicants, and those invited to interview and given an offer.

                No, GEM students are not able to intercalate.
