King’s College, Cambridge

Dear Eman Khaled,

This is in reply to your enquiry received by the College on 19 September.

It’s not clear what you mean by ‘the paper requirements for applying’.
Application is through UCAS (which is all online) so if what you mean is
to apply using a paper application form, you will need to talk to UCAS
about that possibility.  If what you mean is ‘which papers should I take
examinations in’, please see the advice in the following webpages,
especially the medicine subject requirements.

Our general entry requirements can be found here:

[1]http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/study/undergr...

More specific information for A level candidates is here:

[2]http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/study/undergr...

The subject requirements for Medicine are here:

[3]http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/study/undergr...

Our page with information for international applicants is here (including
information on English language requirements):

[4]http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/study/undergr...

The BMAT is not an entrance examination and we have no set requirements
for the scores achieved. We look at each applicant's BMAT result in the
context of their whole application including their educational record,
school reference, and performance at interview.

At King's, our standard offer for Medicine is A*A*A and you would need
those grades in order to make a competitive application here. You can of
course still apply to King's without being able to achieve our offer, but
it's impossible to predict the likelihood of an offer that is below our
standard offer for a subject.

If you have further questions please ask me in the first instance. I
attach a leaflet outlining the College's FOI Act policies and procedures.
If, after following those procedures you are still not satisfied with the
way in which your request has been dealt with you may apply directly to
the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Commissioner
will not entertain your complaint unless you have exhausted any relevant
internal review procedures.

Yours sincerely

Peter Jones
