Dear University of Manchester,
In regards to the Freedom of information act I would like to request the following information:

2)how many applicants have applied to the A106 course for 2019 entry
3)Approximateky how many interviews will be given out for 2019 entry
4)approximately how many offers will be given out for 2019 entry
5)given an applicant has a WP or WP plus flag during interviews, what sort of special consideration are they given? Is there a lower score required to gain an offer? Are extra points given in interviews?
Yours faithfully,

Dear Sam
I am writing in response to your request under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. Please see the answers to your questions below –
1)how many applicants were invited to interview through the holistic
process in 2018 and 2017 entry.
For 2018 the figure was 352. We do not hold the figures for 2017.
2)how many applicants have applied to the A106 course for 2019 entry.
The 2018 deadline has only just passed as of the 15th October; we do not
have the final data yet but will publish it on our website in due course.
As of 18^th October we have over 3100 applications.
3)Approximately how many interviews will be given out for 2019 entry
This is a hypothetical question for an estimate; it is not for recorded
information and therefore would not be a valid question under the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.
4)approximately how many offers will be given out for 2019 entry
As response to question 3.
5)given an applicant has a WP or WP plus flag during interviews, what sort
of special consideration are they given? Is there a lower score required
to gain an offer? Are extra points given in interviews?
Again these are not questions for copies of documented information held. I
note that you have made a number of requests in relation to the A106
course and medical school, you may therefore wish to contact our
admissions team who can answer any of the questions you have such as those
relating to widening participation. They can be contacted on 0161 306
0211.
I hope this information is useful.
Best wishes
Holly
