Dear University of Aberdeen,

In a previous FOI request, you stated that you score post-16 qualifications out of 90, or 95 if achieved, and the UKCAT out of 60, where you said that ukcat scores are ranked in deciles and then put into 13 groups, and each group is awarded a certain amount of points.
Please can you provide me, out of the maximum 155 points, the cut off for invitation for interview for 2018 and 2017 entry for RUK applicants, and for an offer, when this score is combined with the interview score.

I refer to your email of 8 September 2018 requesting information relating to Medicine A100 statistics for 2018.

Your request has now been considered under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, ‘the Act’.

Please can you provide me, out of the maximum 155 points, the cut off for invitation for interview for 2018 and 2017 entry for RUK applicants, and for an offer, when this score is combined with the interview score?

2017 entry – Interview = 121, Offer = 226
2018 entry – Interview = 116, Offer = 223.5

Should you be dissatisfied with this response, you have the right under the Act to request a review. A request for review must be made within 40 working days of the date of this reply. It must include your name and address for correspondence and specify the request for information and the grounds for dissatisfaction with the decision.
