Dear Jesus College, Cambridge,

For the course medicine (a100) for 2016, 2017 and 2018 entry, I would like to know:
1) What are the number of people who applied directly to the college and the number of people who were accepted by winter pool divided into UK, EU and international deciles and their bmat scores?
2)From those the people from question 1), which are the applicants that were interviewed? And what were their interview scores.
3)From the interviewed applicants on question 2), which were able to receive an offer.

Yours faithfully,

Martin Begele

Susan Webb, Jesus College, Cambridge

Dear Martin,

Application statistics are available on the University website At the bottom of the page is an interactive graph generator, which will enable you to find and view most of the information that you've asked for.

You may find other statistical reports on this page also. The full link for the report for the 2017 cycle is here

The College does not hold a full set of the BMAT and interview scores that you ask for. Data about unsuccessful applicants is destroyed once the application process is complete.

As the information that we still hold relates to a small number of individuals we decline to release it under Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act, which deals with the right to privacy of individuals who are capable of being identified.

Further details about making a request to the College, including your rights if you are not satisfied with our response may be found at

Information and advice about the Freedom of Information Act and making requests is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office

Best wishes
