I am requesting data from 2017, 2018 and 2019 entry, relating to medicine A100. These data are threefold: number of applications; number of interviews undertaken; number of offers given.

Further to your FOI request, set out below, I am responding on behalf of Lucy Cavendish College as follows:

We do not retain records beyond this of unsuccessful applicants to the College, so we are unable to provide you with the precise number of applicants interviewed each year.
As you will see from the Application Statistics page, the numbers of applicants and acceptances for Medicine (A100 standard course) at Lucy Cavendish College in the three UCAS apply years requested are as follows:
2017: 17 applications; 2 acceptances
2018: 21 applications; 2 acceptances
2019: 17 applications; 4 acceptances
If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint, you should write to me, at the address below.

If you cannot give me the full number of interviews inclusive of unsuccessful applicants, please could you give me the number of interviews which you can confirm occurred, for the aforementioned years?

Further to your request for additional information, as explained previously, we do not retain data pertaining to unsuccessful applicants once the UCAS apply year has been completed, so we do not have records of the interviews that occurred in previous years unless the application was successful.
We can confirm that each successful applicant listed previously will have had at least two interviews. More generally, Lucy Cavendish College, like all other Cambridge Colleges, typically aims to interview around 75% of applicants for all subjects.
