In response to your request for information dated 13 September 2014, made under
section 1(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”), I am writing to
confirm that the information you require exists and is included in this response.
You asked the following:
“I kindly request for information regarding the Medicine course (A100) for the
2013/2014 and 2014/2015 cycles.
1) What was the number of places available in the course?
2013: 330
2014: 330
2) How many international students applied for the A100 Medicine Course?
2013: 617
2014: 696
3) How many international students (Non-EU) were called for interviews?
2013: 133
2014: 136
4)What was the interview scoring system?
2013: Out of 25 (5 Interview scores out of 5 totalled)
2014: Out of 100 (2 interview scores out of 50 totalled)
5) What were the interview scores for students receiving a conditional offer?
