Medicine A100
Dear University of Liverpool,
My questions are based of the past 4 medicine admission cycles,
How many people were placed on the reserve list that had post-interview rejections?
How many post-interview rejected people from the reserve list were made an unconditional offer (come results day) and accepted into the medicine course?
What was the lowest interview score student who got a place on results day from the reserve list after being post-interview rejected?
If a person who was post-interview rejected but placed on the reserve list at a more of a chance of gaining a place if they have better achieved a-levels (more A* grades) e.g. 3A* or 2A*1A than a post-interview rejected individual with the minimum entry standards of 3As but a higher interview score?
If a person who was post-interview rejected but placed on the reserve list at a more of a chance of gaining a place if they have better achieved a-levels (more A* grades) e.g. 3A* or 2A*1A than a person who was initially offered a place but failed to meet the offer by a margin e.g. by a grade (e.g. they get AAB on results day)?
If university of Liverpool were forced to consider the reserve list do you select the students based of how good their a-levels are e.g. prioritising 3 A* students more than 3 A grade students or is it just based off the interview score, UCAT etc?
If this university was going into clearing would you consider everyone on your reserve list before going into clearing?
Would you know the a-level grades of post-interview reserve listed applicants before them on results day?
Would applicants calling you first for available places to see if you accept them be prioritised when filling up available spaces?
Would post-interview rejected applicants (who are on reserve list) be contacted by you about the decision if so is it by e-mail, phone? When would you expect post-interview rejected reserve listed applicants to be notified by?
Thank you for the help
Yours faithfully,
SM
