Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

If they exist, please kindly provide your policy and safety measures you have put into place for claimants who have a medical emergency during their work capability assessment or healthcare assessment resulting in them being unable to continue with it (such as, but not limited to: seizure/fit, heart attack, stroke).

We are only interested in what the department has done in this area. This includes, if it exists, any guidance or directives put into place to stop the assessor claiming the person is 'not co-operating' with their assessment in such instances or otherwise worse off as a result of their medical emergency.

Yours faithfully,
