Mayor's Challenge Fund (Bee Network) Bid Document for Hyde Road, Manchester

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for Greater Manchester,

Further to my successful request for the bid document for Princess Road Roundabout:

Please provide me with the bid document that Manchester City Council (MCC) submitted for Hyde Road, A57. This is the section of Hyde Road due to be widened, as it runs underneath the Fallowfield Loop in Gorton.

MCC state that they made an unsuccessful bid to the Mayors Challenge Fund to include cycle provision on this scheme. Therefore I would like to see the bid document as it is very relevent when scrutinising their subsequent decisions on this scheme. This is absolutely in the public interest as the scheme is due to start on site soon without any cycle provision at all, putting members of the public at risk, and the decisions made leading up to this point must be able to be scrutinised.

Yours faithfully,

A. J. Bell
