Dear FOI,

I note it has now been longer than the maximum 20 working days. By law, you should have responded by now. Please send me a response with my information immediately.

Dear FOI,

This request is now very delayed. By law you should have promptly responded within 20 working days, and now you have also not replied to my request for an internal review about the above. Please response as soon as possible with the information I have requested.

Yours sincerely,

A. J. Bell

FOI, Transport for Greater Manchester

Dear A J Bell

We are sorry to learn you are dissatisfied with the time it is taking to
issue a response by TfGM in relation to your Freedom of Information Act
2000 (“FOIA”) request, therefore, we acknowledge your request for an
internal review.  We are currently in the process of consulting with
external bodies with regard to the document you have requested.

Please be advised that your internal review will be undertaken by  a
senior colleague, independent of the officer compiling the response to
your request..

Please note there are no statutory time limits under FOIA for the internal
review process, but the Commissioner considers that a reasonable time for
completing an internal review is 20 working days from the date of request
for review.

Dear FOI,

Please can you clarify which external bodies need to be consulted with for my request to be carried out? I was under the impression that the bid documents would have been submitted directly to TfGM by Manchester City Council for approval, and thus TfGM should have copies freely available. As this scheme is starting construction, it is important for the public interest that the bid document and breakdown of costs of what £2.9m of cycling and walking money is to be spent on, is released as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

A. J. Bell
