Dear Liverpool City Region Combined Authority,
On the 23rd May 2018 I went to Liverpool City Council Annual General Meeting in the Town Hall. After all the guests had arrived my colleague and I were escorted to our seats [of which there were many]. Shortly after a member of staff said that I had to leave the building, although he had no reason to give me for this request. A short time later I was notified that Mayor Anderson had ordered my ejection from the Town Hall [witnessed]. When I met him in the corridor he said that I couldn't attend the meeting as I lived on the Wirral ...and because " I say so" [witnessed]

Please quote that part of the Combined Authority Constitution that states that members of the public are banned from attending public meetings when a senior member of the Combined Authority [Mayor Anderson] says "I say so"
If, indeed, it is true that the public is free to attend public meetings in another authority, what action is the Combined Authority going to take in respect of this flagrant misuse of power by Mayor Anderson, who is also a senior member of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority [although he never attends any of the meetings]
