1. Do you accept mattresses at the majority/all your HWRCs? Please answer yes or no.
2. If yes, what is the charge in £ per mattress?
3. How are most of the mattress materials and components disposed of from HWRCs?

Q1-3: Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council do not hold the
information requested.
Adur & Worthing Councils provide a waste collection service only, all
domestic waste is taken to a waste disposal site which is managed by the
West Sussex County Council.

Q4 - Yes. Mattresses can be collected as part of our domestic bulky waste
collections
Q5 - £45 is for a cat 1 collection and a single mattress would fall into
this, lowest, category charge.
Q6 - All waste is taken to our transfer station. That is then dealt with
by the waste disposal authority which is West Sussex County Council
Q7 - No
Q8 - N/A
Q9 - No
Q10 - N/A
