Mary Mears Declaration of Interests since 1992

The request is waiting for clarification. If you are Daniel Harris, please sign in to send a follow up message.

Dear Brighton and Hove City Council,

Please can you provide a copy correct at time of print for each new local election period, for example, 2019, 2015, 2011 back to 1992 for Cllr Mary Mears?

Each document must be the one Mary Mears completed and handed to the Chief Monitoring Officer as per the Local Authority Act.

Can the council confirm if members are to specifically note a separate entry if they are listed on title deeds for properties? be it residential ownership? Business or through their charitable activities?

Please can you confirm of all the Declarations of Interest Cllr Mary Mears has completed since she was first elected in 1992, how many of these declarations has Mary Mears explicitly noted that she is listed on the title deeds for the valley social centre, Whitehawk way, BN2 5HE?

If she has never declared she is listed on the title deeds, can the council please be specific to state she has not declared this?

Is it a criminal offence to not declare any interest? if so can you quote the paragraph in the act which covers this please?

Yours faithfully,

Daniel Harris

Dear Freedom Of Information at BHCC,

Thank you for the information you have provided so far, if I could get a response to the questions in addition that would be wonderful.

"Can the council confirm if members are to specifically note a separate entry if they are listed on title deeds for properties? be it residential ownership? Business or through their charitable activities?

Please can you confirm of all the Declarations of Interest Cllr Mary Mears has completed since she was first elected in 1992, how many of these declarations has Mary Mears explicitly noted that she is listed on the title deeds for the valley social centre, Whitehawk way, BN2 5HE?

If she has never declared she is listed on the title deeds, can the council please be specific to state she has not declared this?

Is it a criminal offence to not declare any interest? if so can you quote the paragraph in the act which covers this please?"

I note this request should be fully fulfilled by 11th March 2020.

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Harris
