Martin Allveys police interview statement (14.2.1995) which was concealed from me
Dear Solicitors Regulation Authority,
I would kindly like to request a copy of Martin Allvey,s Police interview statement, dated 14th February 1995. Which I should have been shown 20 years ago.
I have written a statement to my Member of Parliament, Charlotte Leslie which I have asked Her to forward to the S.R.A. but because of the uncertainty of the outcome of the General Election, it is uncertain when this will arrive.
Yours faithfully,
k.g.s humphreys

dear Joao Curro,
I have already sent Christopher Pococks advice. on Saturday I sent quite a lot of correspondence between Mr Faunt and myself.
Today I shall copy out the file that was sent from Burnand Brazier Tisdall. minus the information already posted.
I,m having some postal problems regarding the tape to disc converter, when this finally arrives, I shall make a copy of my own interview tape and forward it to you

Dear Joao Curro,
Thank you for making me aware you do not need any further information.
I do accept that the additional issues I have made you aware of are not your responsibility, however, you have not informed me of what you intend to do with the new concealment subjects I have made you aware of. Nor have you told me if you intend to forward the letters I have sent you to the relevant department. I am now able to identify the gentleman I met at chambers with David Tisdall. The details of the appointment were absent from my own files, and those of David Tisdall.
Can you let me know if you intend to forward the information I have sent you, or alternatively I shall photocopy it again and forward them to the relevant person, whoever that may be.
Dear Mr Humphreys
Freedom of Information Request – Our Ref: FOI/BS/1396
Further to my colleague Joao Curro’s emails of 12 May please find below
the response to your request for information under the Law Society’s
Freedom of Information Code of Practice.
You have requested the following information:
“copy of Martin Allvey,s Police interview statement, dated 14th February
1995.”
The only file relating to this matter that is still in existence is the
ENQ/70947-2009 file that was a Legal Complaints Service file set up
against Mr David Tisdall.
We have reviewed this file and can confirm that it does not include a copy
of a police interview statement of Martin Allvey dated 14 February 1995.
The other files that appear on our system are no longer in archive and
have been destroyed in accordance with the SRA’s file retention policies.
I am sorry that I am unable to assist you further with this request.
Yours sincerely

I did see one more barrister, Janet Waddicot on the 4th August 1997.
It was whilst I was represented by Jane Wells of Blaker Son and Young Solicitors, Lewes. She did not give me any advice about Martin Allveys Police Statement.

I have tried today to contact the information compliance officer joao curro.
This person was unknown at the telephone number passed to me by the same person.
I have been deeply troubled in recent days by a discovery I had made.
I recall visiting a barrister recommend by david tisdall in 1995.
The barrister was based at kings chambers , the temple.
I had met david tisdall at a london train station before we proceeded there.
at no time did the gentleman ask if I had read martin allveys police interview statement, or why I had not been shown it by a Solicitor.
The gentleman at that time was between 55 - 60 years of age.
when I read david tisdalls papers, I am told the gentleman's name is christopher pocock. I was not familiar with this name when I first saw it.
I have looked at christopher pococks profile, and his date of birth is given as 1960
It would be quite impossible these people could be the same. The gentleman I met would be between 75 - 80 today.
Perhaps in future, if joao curro gives a phone number, it would be advisable to ensure it is correct.
