Marriage recognition certificate
Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
In order for my spouse apply for a residence card, I need a certificate stating that the British Consulate recognises the marriage.
After searching on the government website it appears that one is available for those that took place outside of the UK or Spain.
In my case, it took place in Spain and I would like to know therefore if there is another certificate that I can apply for.
I tried contacting the British consulate directly and they informed me that they could not help me as all the information is on their website.
Yours faithfully,
Miss L. Mellin

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
I have read this information previously and it does not provide the information required. Please could you at least tell me which office I should direct my request too.
Yours faithfully,
