We're waiting for Tracey Evans to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Warwickshire County Council,

Based on the information on your website, can you clarify the figures given under an FOI request. My questions are below those copied from your website.

How many schools have used Marle Hall each year?
During the last 3 full years of operating pre-COVID (2017-2018 to 2019-2020), the centre was visited on average by 32 Warwickshire schools per year. This is equivalent to around 12% of Warwickshire schools.

Does this figure take into account the capacity of Marle Hall (ie the amount of young people it could hold at any given time compared to the number of children in Warwickshire).
Does it take into account the different needs of WCC schools such a trip to Marle Hall not being suitable for Infant school due to the age range or Secondary/ 6th Form schools that do not provide such opportunities?

How many pupils have used Marle Hall each year?
During the last 3 full years of operating pre-COVID (2017-2018 to 2019-2020), the average number of pupils who visited the site per year, either from Warwickshire or other counties, was 2,376. This is equivalent to about 3%.
As above, soe this take into account the capacity and/ or nature of the school in Warwickshire.

Has this number of pupils from Warwickshire schools declined or has it been a decline in other groups using the centre over the last 5 years?
How much of Marle Hall was being used? What were the capacity utilisation rates in recent years?

The annual capacity utilisation rate has been in steady decline. In the most recent financial years of trading this has been under 50% (excluding 2020/21 when it was closed due to Covid-19).

What was the capacity during term time only?
Does the figure take into account the split of gender and if the building could be filled. When we have attended with 60+ children, I cant see how they could use the spare bed space for another school. Has this been taken into account?
What is the average capacity for any outdoor centre and was this figure used in the report?
Did this decline lead to a decline in income?
What work was done in order to increase the usage by councillors and/ or officers?

Yours faithfully,
Tracey Evans
