I am acknowledging receipt of your email received by us on 27 March 2019 requesting information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. As per section 10 of the Act, you can expect a response no later than 20 working days from the date of receipt of your request ie before 25 April 2019.

There may be a fee payable for this information. This will be considered and you will be informed if a fee is payable. In this event the fee must be paid before the information is processed and released. The 20 day time limit for responses is suspended until receipt of the payment. I am responding to the following request submitted by you via email on 27 March 2019 which I am dealing with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 :

“Could you please if possible, provide me with the markschemes and question papers from 2006-2010 for A2 Geography, French and German, for revision purposes.”

The information you have requested is exempt under Section 22 of the Freedom of Information Act – Information Intended for Future Publication. It is CCEA’s intention to publish this information again as soon as internal copyright processes allow and is therefore exempt at this stage.

Requesting an internal review
