Market Towns Initiative (2017-)

The request was successful.

Dear Breckland District Council,

I am writing to you regarding your "Market Towns Initiative" (MTI) scheme which was set up by the Council around 2017. I noticed that the page about this scheme, which was previously at https://www.breckland.gov.uk/onedistrict... , has recently been removed from your website. In the absence of this information on your website, could you please provide me with the following:

1/ Confirmation of whether the MTI scheme is still operating or whether it has been wound up. If the latter, then when did it stop exactly?

2/ The total amount spent by Breckland Council through the MTI scheme to date.

3/ If the scheme has closed and not all the originally allocated funding was used, details of what will happen / has happened to this left-over funding.

4/ A list of projects specifically targeting Thetford that were funded through MTI, together with the amount given and the recipient of the funding for each project.

5/ A list of projects benefiting Thetford together with one or more other towns that were funded through MTI, together with the amount given and the recipient of the funding for each project.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Whittaker
