Manju Shahul Hamid Foundation

The request was partially successful.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

The Manju Shahul Hameed Foundation for Mental Health is run by a Croydon Council Cabinet Member and has several Councillors as trustees.

On the website it lists several businesses and community groups that receive council funding as groups who donate to the charity. http://www.msfoundations.co.uk/

In promotional content on the website it shows a trustee, the Mayor, attending an event wearing Mayoral garb.

There is concern that this charity is a conflict of interest. Please undertake an email search for the Manju Shahul-Hameed Foundation for Mental Health, including use of the council email system for charitable purposes as it is imperative that there is no conflict between a serving cabinet members influence and the charity which takes their name.

Yours faithfully,

R Head
