Dear Manchester City Council,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I require the following information.

1. Are Manchester Council buying housing stock outside Manchester

a) how many houses have been purchased

b) the reason for the purchasing outside Manchester

c) location of each property

d) The rateable value of each property

e) date of purchase for each property

f) are the properties occupied/unoccupied.

g) do Manchester Council own property in Devon, housing or commercial.

        In response to your request for information,  the information has
been summarised as follows:

Manchester City Council do not own any housing property outside of
Manchester and at present there is no intention of the Council purchasing
any.

internal review and if you are not content with the outcome of the
internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information
Commissioner for a decision.  In the first instance, you should contact me
