Mr Duddy

I received your request below for response. On submission of a request for reports to answer your query I have been advised that reports cannot be provided as the specific date an employee meets a trigger point is not recorded by HRconnect.

It was suggested instead that they could provide a report detailing:
• All DfC absence (will run from May 2015 to take in any potential rolling years)
• All DfC Inefficiency sick cases from May 2016.
This information however will not help to answer your request without the need for additional scrutiny of individual cases to ascertain if triggers were reached. The other potential solution would be to request separate reports for cases of: Ill- health retirement, dismissals, written warnings issued, final written warnings issued and no further action (NFA) cases. However both of these options would involve scrutiny of a number of reports, would be time consuming and would most likely exceed the cost threshold.

On reflection, you may wish to consider if you wish to rephrase the question in a format which could to be answered from data recorded. For example if you are interested in having information for DfC staff from May 2016 regarding the number of warnings issued for sickness inefficiency by grade, this could be provided.

I would be grateful if you could consider and advise.

I should also advise that the clock will be stopped on this request until clarification has been received.

Thank you

Gillian

Dear Burns, Gillian,

Please provide details of the number of inefficiency sick cases for the period July 2017 to June 2018. Please detail grade and action action taken with regards IHR, Dismissal, written warning, final written warning or no further action against each grade.
