Thank you for your Freedom of Information Act request of 14^th May, shown
below. Our response to your request is:

• How are facilities management services (hard FM, soft FM or TFM)
handled across your estates? Services are procured in batches or lots
based on RWCMD’s requirements
• If any services are outsourced, which services and to which suppliers?
Cleaning – OCS,  Lift  maintenance – Cardiff Lift, Catering equipment
– Catertech, Mechanical  - Equans, Electrical – A J Crews, Fire and
Intruder – Ceaton Security
• What are the start dates and durations of these contracts, including
the end date, and which services are included in each? Varies – some
are procured by frameworks, others with the University of South Wales
group.
• What are the values of the contracts? - Commercial information is
refused under Section 43(2) of the FOIA. Section 43(2) of the FOIA
exempts information whose disclosure would, or would be likely to,
prejudice the commercial interests of any legal person (an individual,
a company, a public authority itself or any other legal entity).  We
believe that releasing this information would prejudice a fair
procurement process in the future for those contracts as this may
result in a unfair advantage to a new supplier against the existing if
the commercials were known.
• Is there an extension clause in the contract(s) and if so, what is the
duration of the extension? Not applicable
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract(s) are being
either extended or renewed? No
• What is the job title of the senior officer (outside of procurement)
responsible for the contract(s)? Estates Manager
• Do you utilise any outsourced helpdesk or FM integrator services? If
so, with which supplier(s)? No
• Which software solution(s) are used to manage your corporate
property/assets including facilities management (CAFM)? Not applicable
