As you know, like other local authorities within Scotland South Ayrshire Council is currently doing everything it can to reduce the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on our ability to deliver services. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (SCOTLAND) ACT 2002 - FOI/2020/10361

I refer to your information request to South Ayrshire Council, allocated the above reference number. The Scottish Government has now introduced legislation [the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020] extending the statutory time period for public bodies to respond to requests made under FOISA from 20 to 60 working days.

As such, the time scales for responding to your information request have been amended to 60 working days and we will respond to you again in due course.
