Please can you assist me through the Freedom of Information in providing the following information:
1. Please state the number of printers currently within the organization, including MFD´s & photocopiers.
2. Please state the number of devices that are A3 compatible.
3. What percentage of your fleet is printed in colour vs mono?
4. In terms of usage, what is your monthly page volume?
5. How many users on average per printer?
6. Who are the main manufacturers for the printers (hardware)?
7. Who are the main supplier(s) of print consumables (Toner, spares, etc)?
8. Who is your preferred channel partner, if any?
9. What is the approximate spend on printers and consumables during the last year?
10. What are the start and end dates for the managed print contract in your organization (if applicable to the MFD´s)?
11. Which procurement route or framework was used to procure this service?
12. The named person and their role in your organization is in charge of the procurement for printing and any managed print contracts.

 1. Please state the number of printers currently within the organization,

        17 MFD and 7 Desktop Printer

 2. Please state the number of devices that are A3 compatible.

66% Greyscale – 34% Colour (Stats from past 30 days)

 4. In terms of usage, what is your monthly page volume?

108,000

 5. How many users on average per printer?

16

 6. Who are the main manufacturers for the printers (hardware)?

Kyocera

 7. Who are the main supplier(s) of print consumables (Toner, spares,
etc)?

Print consumables are included within the tendered MFD contract

 8. Who is your preferred channel partner, if any?

This is included within the tendered contract

 9. What is the approximate spend on printers and consumables during the
last year?

This information is exempt under section 43 of the FOI Act as it could
prejudice the commercial interest of the company.

10. What are the start and end dates for the managed print contract in
your organization (if applicable to the MFD´s)?

The contract started in August 2017 and ends in August 2020

11. Which procurement route or framework was used to procure this service?

National Public Sector Framework for Multifunctional Devices, Printers and
associated services let by the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC).

12. The named person and their role in your organization is in charge of
the procurement for printing and any managed print contracts.

This is an Organisation procurement process.

In accordance with the procedures of South Yorkshire Passenger Transport
Executive (SYPTE), I am advising you that the cost to the authority in
responding to this request has been £25 which reflects the staff time and
administration costs involved. SYPTE however does not currently make any
charge to customers for processing Freedom of Information Act requests.
 
Please note that SYPTE also utilise printers within our Design and Print
department which will print A3 and above. They use different consumables
some are rental some are owned out right by SYPTE and are operated by
members of the Design and Print team. None of the plant is externally
Managed Print.

know.
