Good afternoon,

Please could you provide an update on my FOI request sent on 11th November?

Yours faithfully,
Rebecca

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your prompt response to my FOI request. While I appreciate your refusal to provide the information, we have submitted this FOI request to a large number of government agencies, many of whom have provided us with data.

Would you consider submitting data for question 1 (How many malicious emails have been successfully blocked?) alone? Every organization receives malicious emails, therefore, we don't feel this would fall within the sections you quoted (cybercriminals won't know how many, if any, of these emails are successful and, therefore, have no information on how successful your cybersecurity systems are).

Yours sincerely,
Rebecca

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

Your original FOI request was received by us on the 15th of November
(please see attached) and we responded to you on the 16th of November.
Since then we have received no communication from you until now. I am
unsure what request you are referring to that you sent on the 11th of
November. Can you please forward me this email, so that I can query with
our ICT department why this has not reached us. Alternatively, your
request for a review of your response (received today), will be dealt with
in line with FOI regulation and we will provide a response to you by the
31st of January 2022.

Dear Victoria Higham,

My apologies, yes it was the request made on the 15th of Nov and yes you responded with a Section 31 for all answers. We just wanted to reach out to you to ask if you would reconsider answering the first question. As stated above, there is no doubt that every organization receives malicious emails and we don't feel an answer to this would be a threat to which Section 31 refers.

Sorry for the confusion, and I look forward to your response.

Thank you,
Rebecca
