Dear Mr Gee
RE: YOUR REQUEST 08821 UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000
Thank you for your request for information, which was received on the 14
February 2013.
We have considered your request for information. Following a search of our
paper and electronic records the answers to your question is outlined
below.
No major resurfacing has taken place in Woodmansterne Lane since Surrey
County Council took over the maintenance of the highway in 2002. Before
this date Reigate & Banstead Borough Council were the highway authority
and would have any details of major resurfacing.
During this time Highway safety inspections have been carried and repairs
have been made to the carriageway.
Woodmansterne Lane was on the resurfacing plan for last year but due to
utility works this was delayed. At the present time we are unable to give
timeframes for this work.
If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me. Please
remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.
If you are unhappy with the handling of your request for information and
wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, in the first
instance you should contact the County Council, quoting your request
number given above, at:
